C'è un momento particolare, un attimo prima che il tuffatore parta con il pre-salto, in cui tutto intorno si fa muto. Te ne accorgi guardandolo e quasi lo senti il silenzio che rimbomba nella sua testa. Le braccia e le mani pendono rilassate lungo i fianchi. Tutto è quiete.

Ma in un istante tutto cambia, i muscoli si tendono e le mani si contraggono spingendo in fuori i tendini, come fossero colmi di tanta energia da non riuscire a trattenerla.

E' il momento di massima concentrazione, la quiete sta per esplodere trasformando la concentrazione in potenza muscolare.
