Known both for her execution capabilities in the pictorial art and for a personal, natural inclination to sculpture, even in the works exhibited, the artist shows a particular interest for the material and the importance of creating brand new sinuous forms, figured and stylized. In the shaping and moulding of the substance, she completely shows what's simple and natural for her, so that to create pictures defined by a sensitive emotional connotation. The oil and acrylic impastos, often mixed to stucco and fabric, sand and sawdust, give the works a concrete and tangible look. The experience matured in sculpture during her early youth brought her to experiment with new materials, such as tuff, trachyte and basalt, whilst, as you can see, the moulding of the clay has given the work that particular value which has made some of her sculptures the most representative for their quality and expression.
