Born on the 9th of September, 1963 in Porto Santo, left the island shortly after he was born and has lived in Lisbon ever since.

From very young showed interest for the arts, namely drawing and painting, but only in 1998 started his studies at the “National Society of Fine Arts, Lisbon”.

The artist chose the body as his basic support, and he sails between the drawing and painting in a mixture of colours that demonstrate his life experience.
