Tono Pannino was born in Firenze, Italy, en 1970. Studied filmmaking and photograph at the Musahino University of art, and after at the Image Forum Institute. She is making films since 1996, and lives in Tokyo as a film, video and installation artist. Her works have screened at festivals and venues around the world. She creates studies of light and form as a way of thinking about time. She conveys subtle narrative impressions with minimal visual information, creating images with peculiar space and time.
