It is inaugurated today London's new landmark skyscraper called The Shard. Funded with money from Qatar and designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano, The Shard is over 309.6m tall, it cost £450 and will contain offices, restaurants, a luxury hotel, exclusive apartments (£50million a pop!) and a gallery which offers amazing 360deg views on London. The Shard is the tallest building in London and in the whole European Union.
