Only 5 days remaining for You Lucky Buggers who can go to the Star Wars Art Exhibition in Manchester (UK). It closes on May 25. A small taste of the exhibit for people who, like me, cannot go.
A Star Wars art exhibition is to be shown at Manchester's Generation Gallery from 4 - 25 May 2012. The exhibition is to celebrate both Star Wars day and the birthday of George Lucas.
Each piece of art is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Lucasfilm, original artwork as well as pieces limited to less then 95 worldwide will be on show.
As well as work from new and exciting artists, the collection includes pieces by the late John Alvin. John was one of the most famous cinematic artists of all time creating the movie posters for over 135 films including E.T and Blade Runner.
Fans from all over the country will be attending the invitation-only launch event on the evening of the 4th of May at the gallery where they can mix with Darth Vader and a squad of his Stormtroopers while enjoying the artwork.
